I am pleased to announce that Jacklex Miniatures will be producing a range of Chinese figures to represent the forces that fought the Japanese in the latter part of the Nineteenth Century. It will compliment the Japanese Army range available on this site. I hope to have the figures on the web site in time for the launch of the new Osprey Men at Arms book 'Armies of the First Sino-Japanese War 1894-95' which is due to be published on 27 October 2022. The new range is being sculpted by the very talented Andrew Stadden.

The range will include a mounted general, regular Infantry, militia Infantry, peasants, banner cavalry and gunners for the Krupp field gun. The latter is already available in the Colonial section of this site.
